Introduction
I am a sixth-year Physics PhD candidate, with an emphasis in Astrophysics, at the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB). I received my B.S. in Physics with a minor in Astronomy from UCSB in 2021. My current research focuses on how stellar feedback shapes galaxy evolution. I combine spatially resolved spectroscopy and imaging with theoretical models to determine how stars drive mass, energy, and metals out of galaxies. I also study how feedback and galaxy interactions redistribute these metals, and how these physical processes may facilitate the escape of ionizing radiation during the Epoch of Reionization. In addition, I investigate energetic stellar eruptions in dense young star clusters and their possible connection to unusual compact sources in the early universe.
